Why TAB Aftermarket Parts?
If you’ve spent any time around the V-Twin community, you’ve probably heard TAB’s name come up. They’ve built a reputation for making exhausts that actually deliver. Not just louder (though yeah, louder), but genuinely better-performing setups that change how your bike responds.
The TAB Performance zombie baffles, BAM Sticks, and Redline systems in particular have a following. Guys often run these TAB Performance aftermarket motorcycle parts on Touring bikes, on Softails, and on Indian Baggers. The sound is aggressive without being obnoxious, and the power gains are real enough that you notice them in the seat.
TAB also makes handlebars now. The Folsom Prison line. Good geometry and, multiple heights are available for Road Glides and Indians.
They’re worth a look if you’re building something unique.
Popular TAB Parts
Certain TAB products move fast. Here’s what riders keep coming back for:
- Exhaust Systems: Amplify your ride’s sound and unleash raw power. A TAB Performance exhaust gives your bike that deep, aggressive rumble while boosting performance.
- Fuel Management Controllers: These TAB Performance parts optimize your bike’s fuel system for better performance and throttle response.
- Air Intakes: Maximize airflow and increase horsepower. A high-performance intake means your engine gets the air it craves for peak performance.
- Heat Shields: Protect your ride from the heat with shields that keep your exhaust looking sharp and prevent burns.
- Tuner Kits: Fine-tune your engine and exhaust for better fuel efficiency and overall performance.
- Slip-On Mufflers: Get that loud, commanding sound without replacing the whole exhaust system. Check out the easy-to-install TAB Performance zombie baffles.
Choosing the Right TAB Parts
What are you working with? That’s the starting point. TAB Performance makes parts for Harley Touring, Softails, and Indian baggers mostly. The year matters, too. Something built for a 2017 Road Glide isn’t necessarily going to bolt onto a 2024. Double-check fitment.
Then figure out what you’re trying to accomplish. Sound and power? Start with TAB Performance’s exhaust parts. The Redline gives you the full package, BAM Sticks if slip-ons are more your speed. Want a different riding position? That’s where Folsom Prison bars come in.

FAQs
Are TAB Performance aftermarket parts compatible with my bike?
TAB’s sweet spot is Harley Touring and Softail models, plus the Indian Bagger and Touring lineup. But “compatible” depends on your specific year. A 2019 Street Glide and a 2024 aren’t the same bike as far as parts go. Not sure? Ask before you order.
Will a TAB exhaust make my bike louder?
That’s… kind of the point, yeah. TAB Performance exhaust systems open up the sound. How much depends on what you’re installing. A Redline 2:1 is going to hit harder than the iconic TAB Performance zombie baffles.
Do I need a tune after installing TAB Performance parts?
Probably. Exhaust and intake mods change your air-fuel mix. Without a tune, you’re leaving power on the table and might run into issues. A fuel management controller or a dyno tune at a shop – either works.
What’s the difference between BAM sticks and the Redline system?
BAM Sticks are mufflers only. Factory headers stay; you swap the mufflers. Quick job, better sound, some power gain. The Redline replaces everything. More work, more money, more results.
Can I install a TAB exhaust myself?
Slip-ons, almost certainly. Basic tools, maybe an hour, and you’re done. Full systems take longer, like TAB Performance zombie baffles, but they’re not complicated. TAB Performance exhaust components include instructions.
Are TAB Performance parts covered by warranty?
They are. The manufacturer’s warranty is straight from TAB. Specifics depend on the part, so check the listing for details. We wouldn’t carry them if they didn’t stand behind what they make.
Do TAB handlebars work with stock controls?
Folsom Prison bars are designed around factory controls for the models they fit. Heights and pullback vary, though. Grabbing 16” bars when you wanted 12” is going to change your whole riding position.
Can I swap tips on BAM stick mufflers?
Yeah. The 4-inch and 4.5-inch both take interchangeable tips. Also, TAB Performance makes billet tips in a handful of styles. Want a different look six months from now? Just buy tips, not mufflers.
What if a part doesn’t fit my bike?
We guarantee fitment. If something fits wrong, we’ll handle it. We offer returns and exchanges. Nobody’s getting stuck with parts they can’t use.
How do I get help with installation?
Call 570-992-1113. We’ll walk you through it. And honestly, if it’s something that a mechanic should really do, we’ll tell you. There’s no sense fighting something for three hours when a shop could do it in thirty minutes. Usually, TAB Performance parts install easily.
