The 7CP06 solves many issues! It no longer depends on the grip size or shape because it no longer mounts to the outside of the grip. The new unit attaches to the cable pull end of the grip so it fits BETWEEN the grip and the switch housing. The 7CP06 will fit Harley-Davidson models, 1996 and newer with throttle cables, and will fit ALL Harley Davidson cable type grips. An added benefit is that once you install 7CP06, changing to new grips will be much easier. No need to split the switch housing or mess with the cables again!

Needs to be clear access to the bottom of the brake pivot pin. Some turn signal mounts cover the pin. These turn signals will have to be relocated to mount this product. 

The will not work with Fly By Wire. DOES NOT WORK WITH HEATED GRIPS

Safety Warning! Heated grips with wire protruding from the grip flange are not compatible with any of the following Models listed below this line. The protruding wire has the potential of becoming entangled in the cruise control components when you turn the throttle which could cause the throttle to hang up and stick open.
