Vintage, No Studs, Two-Piece Seat
The deeply pocketed 15.5" wide driver seat sits you at the ideal cruising angle.
The 11" wide passenger seat utilizes Mustang's unique internal steel support wings. The driver's back is well suported by the nose ofe the passenger seat that extends froward to creat a full 8" backrest. Solo is also sold seperately.

Baseplate Features:
Solo utilized stock side mounts. Front of passenger seat has a bracket that slides into receiver on solo and rear secures to fender with stock screw. Both solo and rear seat are built on a marine-grade fiberglass baseplate.

Love the new seat! Looks great on the motorcycle and best of all feels great on my back and tooshie!

Good but not great, a little too firm and deep for my taste

The seat is as described. It is wider than the stock seat and the deep seat provides a good backrest. The deeper seat sits lower and is very firm such that you stretch farther to reach the handlebars and you have to rock forward to touch the ground. The motorcycle vibration is much more noticeable with this seat. The companion seat is more comfortable though which is the reason for the purchase but I prefer the feel of the stock seat myself. Perhaps it's just what I'm used to. Otherwise, the seat bolted up perfectly to the Mean Streak, that was a major concern since there were some reports that the bolts didn't line up.. I may just go back and forth between seats depending on the ride.
